What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive exfoliating and skin rejuvenation procedure. It is used to treat a number of skin conditions and imperfections, including wrinkles, stretch marks and sun-damaged skin.

A professional microdermabrasion procedure can take between 30 – 40 minutes. Often more than one treatment is needed to achieve maximum results.

Course Outline:

Our curriculum covers the theory behind microdermabrasion equipment and treatments. We provide a hands-on learning experience, where students can practice on live models. Through our program, they will have the opportunity to:

  • Consult and prepare for the treatment
  • Perform a basic facial cleanse
  • Apply the treatment
  • Review treatment and provide post-treatment advice

We supply all the equipment needed for this procedure.

Model: You will have to bring your own model when required.

DURATION: 2.5 hours

FEE (with starter kit): $450 plus GST (machine not included)

A certificate of completion will be provided.
